Adnan Qadir Khan Professor at the School of Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and served as a Former Chief Economist at the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

Adnan Qadir Khan is a Professor at the School of Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and was a Former Chief Economist at the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). He is a member of the Steering Committee for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Global Synthesis Coalition. He is affiliated with several global research institutions, including the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at MIT, the Center for International Development (CID) at Harvard University, and Yale’s Research Initiative on Innovation and Scale (Y-RISE). He is also involved with the Building State Capability Program at Harvard Kennedy School and the Reducing State Fragilities Initiative at the International Growth Centre (IGC). He is a founding board member of the Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP). With over 30 years of experience spanning academia, policy, and practice, his work focuses on economic growth, development, political economy, state capacity, and geoeconomics. 

Hina Rabbani Khar Chair of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee and Former Foreign Minister of Pakistan

Hina Rabbani Khar, a prominent diplomat and politician who serves as Chair of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee and Pakistan's 26th Foreign Minister, has built a distinguished career marked by her fourth term in parliament. During her tenure as Foreign Minister, she championed a strategic "regional pivot" focused on strengthening ties with neighboring countries, including trade normalization with India, cooperative outreach to Afghanistan, and enhanced economic partnerships with Iran and Central Asia. Beyond diplomacy, Ms. Khar has navigated key ministerial roles in Economic Affairs and Finance, demonstrating her versatility in governance. Even outside formal office, she remains a steadfast representative of Pakistan on the global stage, engaging at prestigious forums such as the Munich Security Conference, Paris Peace Forum, Davos, and numerous regional and international events.  

Bolormaa Amgaabazar Country Director, Pakistan, World Bank

Bolormaa Amgaabazar is currently the Country Director for the World Bank in Pakistan. Previously, she was the Operations Manager for the World Bank in Indonesia and Timor-Leste. Ms. Amgaabazar oversaw the Bank’s portfolio for both countries and supported the implementation of the Country Partnership Framework, as well as the policy dialogue with government counterparts and other partners. Ms. Amgaabazar joined the World Bank in 2004 and worked in the East Asia and Pacific, Africa, and Easter Europe and Central Asia regions of the Bank. In 2008, she relocated to Washington, D.C., as the Country Officer for Indonesia. In 2011, she moved to the Africa Region of the Bank as Senior Operations Officer for Sudan and South Sudan, based in Nairobi. Ms. Amgaabazar holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands and a Bachelor’s degree in Trade Economics from the Lviv Institute of Trade and Economics in Ukraine.
